Good outweighs the bad in Wicked
"...and Stefanie Brown, possibly the best Nessarose I’ve seen. She’s an amazing character, with those ruby shoes you’ll never forget and a blazing passion that I wish other actors could bottle."

Wicked Continues to Amaze
"In Saturday night’s performance, Stefanie Brown who played Glinda stole the show. With every little flick of the foot, tilt of the head and toss of the hair, Stefanie does an amazing job that makes this writer think about doing something he has never done before. Something different. Something shocking. If not for the fear of melting in Portland’s downpour with no umbrella, this theater fan would have stayed after to try and get a photo/autograph with the star."

Urinetown is sassy and outrageous
"His love interest, Hope, the golly-gee daughter of the big, bad Mr. Cladwell, is given a hokey and captivating innocence by Stefanie Brown, whose voice has gotten fuller and more glorious in her four years at the UA."

It's Raining... Something!
"The innocent lovebirds, Bobby and Hope, are played by Kyle Harris and Stefanie Brown...As for Brown, she was a spectacular Cunégonde in Candide last fall, and now as Hope, she proves she can be just as effective in a less arch role--and she's still in superb voice."

UA Students Sing Their Hearts Out
"Stefanie Brown, who played Cunegonde, the innocent who loves her half-cousin Candide but is stolen away to be used and abused by a couple of powerful men. She hates it. She loves it. She sings "Glitter and Be Gay," an operatic spoof that has her cursing the deeds she must do but loving the jewels doing them gets her. Brown's crystal voice rose to the challenging song, and she infused the piece with delicious comedic timing."

Awesome Operetta
"Let's start with Stefanie Brown as Cunegonde. She turns in a spectacular performance of the show's big hit (not counting the overture), "Glitter and Be Gay." This is, among other things, a parody of Gounod's "Jewel Song," full of coloratura acrobatics, and Brown negotiates the musical frippery and hits those nine high E-flats with ease, even while making the psychological transitions believable."
